SITE VISIT MINUTES

FA6633-16-B-0004

Repair Perimeter Fence-POL Project: QJKL 15-0037

Site Visit – 18 May 2016, 1:00pm, Bldg. 729

A second site visit was conducted on 18 May 2016 in the Contracting Conference Room, Bldg 729 room 118 (see site visit attendance roster for names of the attendees) for any interested contractors and potential subcontractors.

Contracting/Anthony Misenor provided an overview of the basic contract requirements and some information pertinent to this specific solicitation:

1) One contract will be awarded, CLIN 0001 (Bid Item 1) will include pricing to perform the basic work as described in the specifications and drawings.

2) Performance period is 90 days. Additionally, a “free zone” will need to be established as identified in the project documents.

3) Funds are not presently available, but we are fairly sure we will obtain them with work starting soon after.

4) Contractors should pay attention to the “Instructions for Bidders” in Section L of the solicitation to ensure a complete bid package is sent

5) A public bid opening will be conducted on 2 June 2016, 1:00Pm in Bldg 729, Room 118. No late bids will be accepted, and we’ll need security information on anyone attending or delivering a bid

6) This area will need to be highly coordinated with the bldg users and Air National Guard Reserve personnel

7) ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING TO ANTHONY MISENOR

NO LATER THAN 26 MAY 2016, 4:00PM. These will be consolidated and responses provided and posted on 27 MAY to www.fbo.gov

Civil Engineering/Kyle Turner provided a general overview of the project, and what the government’s expectations are for this project. Additionally, due to the proximity of the free zones to an active runway, there will need to be an object-free area (FOD) within the free zones to the maximum extent possible.

Documents available at the site visit as indicated below:

a. Business cards for Anthony Misenor

b. Procurement Fair flyers (Procurement Fair on 28 April at the Earle Brown Center)

c. Real ID Act flyer

d. Drawing sheet indicating the project area

Contractors were advised that 2 amendments have been issued to date. Should other amendments be necessary after 19 May 2016, the bid opening date may need to be extended.

Contractors were then taken to the POL site for visual inspections. Pictures were allowed to be taken of the site only.
