Local National Worksite Physician Pre-Proposal/Site Visit Questions and answers Q&A

1. Why is CLIN 0001 shown twice and how should it be addressed in the proposal? In the solicitation CLIN 0001 was inadvertantly repeated. Offerors should still fill out the required information per the directions in the Solicitation. Evaluation will be done on only one entry of CLIN 0001.

2. What hours will the Physician need to work? The requirement is for the physician to support for approximatly 100 hours a month (85hrs for 39 ABW and 15hrs for AAFES) minimum IAW Article 31 of the regulation promulgated in the official Gazette Number 27320 dated 15 Aug 2009

3. Will the Worksite Physician get Turkish holidays? Currently the solicitation does not specify any time off for Turkish holidays

4. Will the physician be required to work the Goal days or Family days? Currently civilan employees and contractors do not get those select days off. The Turkish Nationals would need to be supported.

5. What leave/vacation time does the Worksite physician get? The position is based upon the contrator supporting the requirement for 100 hours per month. This is a part-time contractor position not a U.S. Government position. The contractor would have to be able to plan accordingly to support the requirement. If the contractor intends to take an extended time away a replacement physician would have to be available and approved by the U.S. Government accordingly.

6. What is required in case of acute abulatory situations? Worksite physician will assess and determine what transfer requirements are necessary if any.

7. What language will records/reports need to be in? Records in Turkish. Official reports (for Turkish government offices) in Turkish, management reports in Turkish and English as required..
