Question 1) At Gate One, can we assume that the underground ducts leading from the two existing camera poles to the Gatehouse are viable and clear to allow new cables to be installed within them?
Answer 1) There has been no recent survey conducted on the mentioned duct. Offerors must
Question 2) At Gate One, is it a requirement to remove the existing CCTV monitors and replace the same with a 32” ceiling mounted screen displaying all Gate One cameras?
Answer 2) Yes
Question 3) Do you require the following?
· Remove all existing old CRT CCTV monitors at Building 4
· Cover holes where previous CRT CCTV monitors were mounted, remount all existing computer monitors to include corporate IT and Vindicator onto new board, and install new 28” CCTV spot monitor inot the same arrangement.
· Reuse existing large screen monitor for multi camera viewing
· Provide new 43” monitor mounted on the board for multi camera viewing

Question 4) Can you confirm that all CCTV recording and control equipment is to be installed in the 19” rack?
Answer 4) Yes
Question 5) Can you confirm if there is a requirement for a UPS to be fitted into the 19” rack to support the CCTV equipment mounted in the rack for 4 hours?
Answer 5) Not required
Question 6) Can you confirm that the existing fiber communication cable is multimode or single mode?
Answer 6) Building 1 (front gate) has single mode (coming from Building 4) and a hybrid fiber (coming from Building 30) going to it. The fiber to the poles would come off of Building 1, Building 4 is also fed from Building 30 via 12 strands of multimode fiber.

Answer 7) Copies of the appendices will be provided through AMRDEC. An email with the download link will be provided to those who request copies of the appendices.
Question 8) The bullet camera model indicated in the solicitation (Bosch NTC-255-PI) is no longer available in the UK.
Answer 8) Provide a camera with similar specifications and capabilities similar or equal to NTC-255-PI
Question 9) What camera should be allowed for in response to this solicitation?

Question 10) The Statement of Work states that all cameras must have an infrared lighting feature. The solicitation document indicates that 11 Bosch MIC PTZs are required, but only details 3 sets of IR illuminators – is this correct or is there a requirement for 11 sets of IR illuminators to ensure that all cameras have the infrared lighting feature?
Answer 10) All cameras must have infrared lighting feature.
Question 11) Can we assume that electrical mains power will be supplied by the Base contractor outside of this SOW to each camera location i.e. base of the CCTV pole or is this a requirement within our SOW? Can you confirm that mains power and a fiber connection will be provided on the outside of building chosen as the link point (either Outdoor Rec, Gym, or Post Office)?
Answer 11) No, as of the moment the government does not intend to provide electrical mains and communication cables on locations where it does not exist.
Question 12) Does the requested 3-year warranty include all call outs, (whether the issue is equipment related or not), include periodic camera cleaning and all software firmware updates of the 3 years period or is the warranty just relating to equipment failure?
Answer 12) Provide standard commercial warranty good for three years.
Question 13) Can I assume that all of the CCTV control equipment should be manufactured by Bosch?
Answer 13) All control equipment must be compatible with the offeror’s proposed surveillance system.
Question 14) As the contractor will need to provide all mounting solutions, can I assume that the installation of concrete camera pole bases and supporting underground duct network will be undertaken by the base contractor and be outside of the SOW for this contract?
Answer 14) No, the contractor shall be responsible for all mounting solutions to include installation of concrete camera pole bases and supporting underground duct network.
Question 15) Can you confirm that radio in the 60 GHz to 66 GHz should be used?
Answer 15) This information will be provided to the successful offeror.
Question 16) Are we allowed to reuse one of the existing thermal cameras onto the new camera pole?
Answer 16) No, all cameras must be new.
