No Reference Question Government Response

1 General Could you inform electrical capacity of vehicle wash rack system?

Electrical capacity for this project is 150 AMPS, 230V 3Phase, 60HZ.

(see SOW 1.1(e))

2 General Does the surface needs to be level? Yes, contractor shall modify concrete floor level to suit new wash rack platform. See provided manufacturer’s information

3 General Where is the power coming from? Contractor shall include installation of new transformer.

4 General Please advise exact location to install the water drainage

Water drainage will be install and connected to Wash equipment, see provided manufacturer’s information

5 General Are there acceptable alternative Japanese Standards to use in the project?

Alternative Japanese standard/material can be use as substitute if contractor can provide needed information that justify its equal or better than American standard/materials for government consideration.

6 General Will the contractor require to conduct laboratory test for Legionella and Aerobic organism level before or after the construction?

NOT require

7 General Is it possible to know the characteristics and requirements of the future machine which will install in the future?

See provided manufacturer’s information

8 General Please provide specification for Government furnished wash rack (e.g. watts, Voltage, etc…)

9 Drawings Will there be available elevation drawing or topographic drawing?

Contractor shall modify existing concrete floor elevation to suit Wash rack system platform see provided manufacturer’s information.

10 Electrical Respect to electrical part, what characteristics of panel board is going to install in the future?

Without this information, it is not possible to decide the type and number of conductor for electrical supply.

New panel shall be 150 AMPS, 230V, 3Phase, 60HZ (see SOW 1.1(e))

11 Electrical For the Electrical Trench, will it be Yes, prior to actual construction necessary to Dye in red the exterior level of the concrete encasement?

12 Electrical Please advise if the panels and conduits need to be explosion proof.

Would it be connected to the vehicle washer?

Please provide the information for electrical spec for the vehicle washer.
