Grounds Maintenance Solicitation Questions and Answers
1. PWS, page 17, Appendix A. The Vacant Family Housing has 3960 quantity. We’d like to know the breakdown of housing type. How many of each housing type do they have?
a. The housing office does not keep historical data on what type of house is vacant. However, they do have current data. Please keep in mind that vacant housing is always changing due to the moving of Military personnel and these numbers are not always static. Please see table below (Housing types: Duplex, High Rise, Multiplex, Single):

2. PWS, page 10. The Government will provide an open area as specified in Appendix E for the contractor to use in support of the requirements of this contract. Is it possible to set up a hut of containers, etc… at the open area?
a. Yes, the contractor can set up (need to obtain CO approval in advance), and need to return in the same condition given when the contract ends.
3. After the contract, are we able to get drawings that contain the weed (improved/semi improved) range of MUNS area?
a. Yes, we can provide all maps
4. If the contractor needs to say after 1800 hours due to leftover cutting or some other tasks involving work, can he/she stay to continue working? Is overtime allowed?
a. Security Forces will only allow you to stay on the bases as your access allows and what is determined your “duty hours.” In respect to overtime, the Contracting does not pay by the hour, we pay for completion. With that, it is up to the contractor to decide if they need to tell their employees to work extra to complete the contract objective.
