About this file

This document contains responses to a Request for Information (RFI) related to an upcoming solicitation for intrusion detection system (IDS) services at a 36th Wing facility. The RFI responses indicate the government will provide fiber for required communication lines but the contractor must supply any additional equipment such as switches, racks, and media converters. While the government may provide as-built drawings of existing cable trays and conduits on a case-by-case basis, surface mounted conduit may be used if existing installations are incomplete or prevent sensor placement. The doors supplied by the government for the project will not include precuts for security locking hardware, which must be provided by the contractor.
