About this file
This document contains responses to a Request for Information (RFI) related to solicitation number FA524021Q0057 for an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) for the 36th Wing/Civil Engineer Squadron at Pacific Air Forces. The RFI responses indicate the government will provide fiber for required communication but the contractor must supply any additional equipment such as switches, racks, and media converters. Doors provided by the government will be blank and not precut for security locking hardware or a FFL2740 cutout, which the contractor must accommodate. As-built drawings of cable trays and conduits are generally not available but may be provided on a case-by-case basis. The document does not specify whether surface mounted conduit will be allowed if existing conduit is incomplete or not located where sensors must be installed.
