MEMORANDUM FOR ALL INTERESTED PARTIES

SUBJECT: Responses to Questions/Requests for Information Submitted FA5240-17-Q-M025:

The following questions have been submitted by interested parties. All questions and answers are included as follows:

1. Q: The requested “Lava Rock” listed on the barrier specifications, is this a color scheme or type of material being requested?

1. A: “Lava Rock” is a color scheme and a texture, reference the picture included.

2. Q: Can we confirm that your Structural requirement; requires Grade 60 rebar? Is it possible to use Grade 40 Rebar?

2. A: Grade 40 is acceptable, see specifications for the updated requirement.

3. Q: The Drawing shows “lava rock”; but the front specification page does not state anything about “lava rock “? Is the “lava rock " finish mandatory?

3. A: No the “Lava Rock” finish is not mandatory.

4. Q: I noticed that the drawing shows a Length @ 7' 10” vs. a standard traffic barrier at 8 ft. or

10 ft. in length? Can we offer an 8 ft. or 10 ft. Vehicle Barrier?

4. A: Yes, 8 foot barriers are acceptable.

Under the Privacy Act of 1974, you must safeguard all information, if required, reflected on this document and, if applicable, all attachments. Disclosure of information is IAW AFI 33-119, AFI 33-127, AFI 33-129, DoD 5400. 7-R/Air Force Supplement

(Freedom of Information Act), AFI 33-332 (Privacy Act), AFI 33-219, and PL 93-579.

5. Q: Is the preferred Delivery period 120 days?

5. A: Yes 120 days ADC or Best Offer, delivery is an evaluation factor, delivery less/greater than

120 days will be evaluated as stated in the RFP.

6. Q: Does the 4000psi concrete needs to be "Architectural Black Colored Concrete"?

6. A: Color is to match the existing “lava rock” barricade as shown in the picture and currently at

AAFB Guam., if offer is for standard vehicle barrier, standard grey concrete is acceptable.

7. Q: Please confirm the "reflective tape" is 3M Diamond Grade Conspicuity Marking in

Fluorescent Yellow product code 983-21. This would match the existing barricade as shown in the picture and currently at AAFB Guam however is not listed in the solicitation description.

7. A: No, this “reflective tape” above is for attachment to metal surfaces, not concrete. The reflective tape is required and must be attached using this method.
