Question Set #3 Question: What is the total number of students the proposal is expected or required to support? (Are the same students attending multiple classes or different students each course?)

Answer: 49 Students. There will be different students attending each course. The intent was to request a variety of courses to match unique objectives each work center has in accomplishing the mission.

Question: Are the issued laptops meant to be taken home or can they be used as classroom materials also?

Answer: The students will not have the laptops outside of class. The laptops are intended to be used as classroom learning material/stations and the contractor will retain the laptops at the end of each day’s instruction as they (the contractor) see fit.

Question: In the RFQ (792 ISS - IT Onsite training in Hawaii), course Installing and Configuring Windows 10 is requested to be taught on Aug 19-23 2019. However, Microsoft has notified us that this course is going to be retired and not available beginning 30 June 2019.

Question: Standard duration for ITIL is typically 3 days, but you have this listed at 5 days. Would the customer be willing to bring the duration down to 3 days?

Answer: We will bring the course duration down to 3 days 22 July - 24 July 2019.

Question: The Installing and Configuring Windows 10 (CLIN 0006) is listed “w/exam vouchers”. Are exam vouchers a requirement for this training or is this a mistake?

Answer: Exam Vouchers are a requirement. It provides the students an opportunity to meet one of the requirments to obtain a MCSA Windows 10 Certification.

Question: On page three it states “The contractor shall provide training laptops. These laptops may NOT be mailed to the government ahead of the start of class. The government does not intend to retain the laptops upon completion of training.” Logistically we have to ship laptops ahead of class, particularly to Hawaii to make sure all equipment and any other ancillary arrive on time. Please clarify as the following page states under deliverables: “Training Materials, Digital and Physical – 7 days prior to class start.” - ??

Answer: The training materials refer to physical and digital training/study materials that are part of the class curriculum. Unfortunately, the building we are located in doesn’t allow us to bring in outside laptops/IT hardware because of security concerns. We would have nowhere to store the laptops before the class begins, which is why we were asking for the classroom instructor to bring them with.

Question: Exam Voucher: Would a 6 month exam voucher be acceptable?

Answer: No, 12 months is required.

Question: Travel. Are the students located in Honolulu, HI or outside of HI?

Answer: The students are located on Oahu, the same island as Honolulu, HI.

Answer: Within 5 business days.

Question: Can the course outline contained in the Contractor’s RFQ Proposal satisfy the requirement in Section 7.4 of the RFQ that states, “The contractor shall provide a course outline and will coordinate the course outline with the customer no later than 15 days after the date of the contract.” Asking because there is a possibility that the start of the first (1st) training course of 15 July 19 may occur prior to the date of this requirement. For example, the quote are due 1 July 19 and the first course is scheduled to begin 15 July 19.
