1. I have read through the Solicitation but could not find the Depreciation Formula for Crane

Purchase you mentioned at the site visit.

Instead, the prices for procurement options seem that they should be determined by quoters.

(Please see PART 1 - SUMMARY AND MISCELLANEOUS DATA. paragraph (d) on page 28 of 50 in COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION) Would it be acceptable to understand that we can use our depreciation formula to decide the prices for crane purchase?

The MACRS Depreciation Formula is identified on the internet at https://www.irs.gov/publications/p946. However, the government is willing to accept demonstrable common industry methodologies (depreciation formulas) to determine the prices for the crane purchase

2. According to paragraph (m) Quotation Preparation Instructions on page 28 of 50, there are several documents to submit. We are, however, not provided with STANDARD FORM (SF)

1449. What should we do?

Please use the attached SF 1449.

3. Regarding "Attch+1+Exhibit+A+-+Pricing+Schedule", is the second sheet "6-Mos Extension

Rates" the Government Use Only?

Not for Government Use Only, please fill in the highlighted cells for potential differing or same rates for the 6-month extensions.

Or if this is to be filled out by us, offerer, should we fill in the yellow cells with prices in

Japanese Yen? (Please see the attached excel file.)

Yes, please fill in the yellow highlights in Yen.

4. Delivery time to produce a crane from the factory would take 7 months. After delivery, it takes one month for the installation at the site. Is it possible to extend the completion period to 8 months from the award date?

After review, an 8 month period for delivery and installation will be acceptable. All attached solicitation documents will be amended to reflect this change to 8 months.

5. Would you be able to provide us with the items to secure the site such as Keep Out Barricades tapes color and safety cones when we are installing the gantry crane, or would it be our responsibility?

The contractor will be responsible for providing safety tapes, cones, forklifts, personnel, tools, trash disposal, and any item necessary to install the crane.
