RFI 01 17 June 2020
1. Is there a power source or will it need to have a self-contained power unit such as diesel or battery?
Intent is to have the crane run off of facility power; we cannot have it run on diesel.
2. Will this be used indoors or outdoors?
The crane will be used indoors.
3. Would you be open to a machine that is on pneumatic tires so there would be no need for a floor mounted rail?
Tires will be acceptable as well as floor mounted rails.
4. Is there an incumbent contractor currently performing these services, if similar services have been performed in the past, or if this is a new requirement? If there is an incumbent, could you please provide the contract or task order number?
There is no incumbent contractor. This a new requirement that has never been done before. No similar services have been performed in the past.
