Question and Answer Document 2
FA488721Q0026
Q: Voltage is listed at 208/120vac 60hz output – Question- Do you require a voltage selector switch that allows the output to be changed (480vac-208vac -240vac 2-phase) by rolling barrel switch, or will this unit ONLY be used at 208/120vac 60hz output?
A: No. We don’t need to be able to switch between outputs; 3-phase, 208/120VAC 60hz only.
Q: Output connection is listed as 5 post output 3 phases, neutral, and ground with a removable link for bonding Neutral and Ground. Q – Will you want us to include a voltage distrobution panel with 120v duplex outlets, Hubbell twist outlets, and Cam-loc color coded female receptacles.
A: It would be nice for it to have a 120V outlet; most generators do. We do not need “Hubbell twist outlets” or “Cam-loc color coded female receptacles”. We need discreet terminal hook ups capable of 2/0 cable for A, B, C, Neutral and Ground.
Q: Are these generators for Emergency Back-up and would you accept T3 emission technology?
OR, are you going to require T4f emission technology for Prime Power application?
A: Must be T4.
Q: Is there no fuel tank required for the unit itself or would you like an in base tank and a 3-way valve for an external tank connection? The engine is equipped with an electric lift pump but if you are drawing a long distance we should know that distance so we can size the fuel pump accordingly.
A: We do need an internal tank for the probability of servicing the generator off-site. Also needs to be able to switch to Aux fuel (external tank).
