RFI Answers 12FEB19

• The specifications only list one electrical conduit to the new tank for AC power only, would you also want to include a DC conduit for an electronic Fuel/Tank Monitoring System which is typically required for tanks of this size?

o Only one conduit to stub up at pump. From stub up goes to both pumps (one on each side of tank). Both pumps to be on 110 VAC 30 amp circuit. After tank and pumps are placed in place the electrician will need to come back and connect to pump. No DC volts according to the manufacture.

• If yes to question #1, is a price needed to supply and install the Electronic Tank Monitoring System?

o No

• Since this is a Design/Build Project, would it not be more advantageous and cost efficient to place the Fuel Tank to the West of the Wash building?

o No there is not enough room for pump and some of the equipment that needs to pump fuel.

• Could the AC power be brought through the Wash building to the South end and then exit via a

Line-of-Sight direction toward the tank location?

o Yes.

• Who will be responsible for the off-loading and placement of the new tank, since a crane will be required?

o The Government will be off loading and placing tank and pumps.

• The RFQ says that work shall commence within 10 days of NTP and finish within 60 days, will the tank be on-site prior to this RFQ NTP or scheduled to arrive during?

o The tank with fuel pumps are scheduled to arrive 30 April 2019. We can adjust the NTP to match the arrival of the equipment.
