Questions and answers for Nellis/Creech sunshade maintenance:
1. On you price list how do you estimate unscheduled repairs? Do you guess at what might be needed or are you going to establish so all bidders are apples to apples in pricing?
A- There is not an estimate for unscheduled repairs. The contract would have a CLIN for repairs in excess of the quarterly inspections. See the attached pricing worksheet for not to exceed amounts.
2. Do you know what replacement parts are needed? Are we going to get a list of parts?
A- There is not a list of replacement parts. The replacement parts CLINs encompass all parts of the sunshade structures. The replacement parts CLINs have been updated with not to exceed (NTE) prices.
In the Excel pricing sheet and FBO posting it lists Creech AFB as being semi-annually for the service.
3. During the site visit it was said that Creech would be quarterly and Nellis would be semi-annual.
Could you please clarify which one is correct?
A- There was a discrepancy between the solicitation and PWS regarding the regularity of inspections for Nellis and Creech. The PWS and solicitation have been updated to reflect that inspections will be conducted on a quarterly basis for both locations. Both the updated PWS and pricing sheet are attachements on FBO.
