FA481920Q0003 – Portable Latrine Questions and Answers

Q1.)On the SF 1449 form it does not address clins 0005,1005,2005,3005,4005, has this been removed or is it still applicable to this solicitation?
A1.)Please refer to amendment 0001 which includes the addition of CLINs X005 and X006.
Q2.)Will there be a site visit for this solicitation?
A2.)Due to the
Q3.)This solicitation does not outline a general service guideline in terms of which units will be serviced in what frequency, only that it will be once, twice or three times weekly. Will this change every month, and is it the government’s expectation for bidders, to assume what level of service to bid based on?
A3.)Standard servicing shall be once per week unless requested by the COR or Contracting Officer. Additional servicings shall be covered under CLIN X006.
Q4.)Does the government have the ability to give a more clear representation on which units will be serviced at what level? This would ensure people didn’t overbid or underbid, ultimately potentially affecting quality.

Q7.)Does the government have an estimated schedule or frequency of temporary units?
A7.)The requirement does not include temporary units.
Q8.)On line 17, how are the boxes for code and facility to be filled out?
A8.)These boxes are to be filled out with the contractors Cage Code, Business Name, Address, Telephone, etc.
Q9.)On line 24, it states "see schedule". Is the full pricing to be on line 23 and 24 or just pricing on the schedule?
A9.)While the contract total can be included in block 24, the offeror must complete the pricing information for each Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) in the schedule.
Q10.)In reference to WEG portable toilet, it states "on trailer". What are the specifications for that?
A10.)Please refer to the updated PWS containing additional information related to the Government Owned trailer.
Q11.)On the schedule, we do not see a line item for servicing. In the solicitation, it indicates that the servicing could be once, twice, or three times per week. Is there going to be an addition to the solicitation for that or is the pricing to be included in servicing?
A11.)Please refer to the amended solicitation for which CLINs X006 have been included for any additional servicing required above the standard frequency of once per week.
