Questions and Answers from Site Visit Date: 13 Sep 2018 Time: 1300 CST Location: Tyndall AFB Track and Field

1. Is the contractor supposed to remove and dispose of the old sign? Yes

2. Are the current I-Beams mounted in concrete? Yes

3. Can the new I-beams be installed in the same general area and simply cut the existing I-beams flush with the ground rather than excavating them? Yes

4. What is the size of the current sign? Approximately 12’ x 5’

5. Would square steel tubes be an acceptable alternative to I-Beams? Yes, as long as the support structure is engineered to support the proposed scoreboard in accordance with any applicable codes and regulations

6. From what location will the new scoreboard primarily be operated from (i.e location of person with scoreboard control?) Midfield

- Confirm ability of crane and concrete trucks to be located at site (i.e. all support equipment required for installation). Any equipment required for this effort can reach the site. Vendor is required to take care to not damage the the property and avoid traversing any equipment over the track and field.

- What is the height of current sign, and does the new sign need to be the same height or different? The sign is currently at 10’ from the ground, the new sign shall also be 10’ from the ground.
