1.Please define the statement “IAW Attached PWS”. Is there another document not attached to the positing?
* The PWS document is now attached to the solicitation.

2. CLIN 0002 - It appears this 90-kVA converters is meant to be mobile with caster call outs (Item 16). Can that be confirmed?

* Negative. 90KVA converters require an 18" riser that bolts down
into the cement/ground for sturdiness as the 45KVA units do.

3. CLIN 0002 - Can you confirmed the input voltage for the 90-kVA converter is 480 VAC, 60 HZ, 3-phase?

*Correct, same as the 45KVA Converters, input voltage is 480 VAC
+/- 10%; 3-phase @ 60 Hz.
*If providing a 90KVA unit, it is only for the explosion
Proof hangarette that is wired differently than the others. Utilization
Of the 90KVA units would power all 4 hangarettes; opposed to having
4 separate units and the cost of rewiring the hangarettes--site vist
May be req.

4. CLIN 0002 - If the 3-phase output voltage regulation is within the MIL-STD-704F requirements, please confirm that is acceptable.

*Only, if it meets or exceeds the limits of MIL-STD-704F. Typically,
Less than 50 milliseconds with a 100% load change--Under/over voltage

5. CLIN 0002 - Please provided further definition on the single phase voltage trip (item 14).

*If one leg of voltage drops off-line or below 10% of 480 VAC; 200/115V
(input/output), the machine Automatically falls offline to prevent
damage to assets/aircraft.

6. CLIN 0002 - If the converter is mobile, will a remote station still be required?

*Converters are not intended to be mobile, they are to be stationary,
On 18" risers, and bolted to the ground.

7. CLIN 0003 - If the converter in CLIN 0002 is mobile, do you actually need (32) 18" stands?

*See question 5: Converters are not intended to be mobile, they
are to be stationary, on 18" risers, and bolted to the ground.

8. CLIN 0004 - Can the cable hangers be attached to the converter or do they need to be separate (example, floor mounted)?

*Ideally, cable hangars will be attached to the converter; however, if
Room and without obstructing walkways, they can be secured to the
Ground--separate from the converter.

9. CLIN 0004 - With a quantity of 32 converters, should the cable hangers match the quantity?

*If providing 90 KVA units and utilizing the 4 already built connection
Points in each of the 4 hangarettes, hangers would need to be included.
*A total of 34 hangarettes will require hangars or floor mounted reels to
Properly/safely store the output cable when not utilized.
*The extra 12 (totaling 46 hangars/reels) is from the past installation of
Converters that did not have them but required for proper storage.

10. CLIN 0005 - Please define the output cable length.

*at least/minimum 60 feet long

11. CLIN 0006 - In order to provide an installation price a site visit would be needed and time allowed to contact a local licensed electrical contractors. Please confirm a site visit will be scheduled to assess the installation needs?

*Please coordinate with Holloman AFB's Contracting Office.
Point of Contact: A1C Wilkins, Shawndae @ (575) 572-7155.

12. CLIN 0008 - Please provide further definition of an explosion proof output cable required?

*Would require 4 of these output cables for the set of hangarettes
That require the 90 KVA units. If only providing 45 KVA units, this
Requirement is not needed. The connecting point of the output
Cable in the already built/wired hangarette requires an adapter
To plug into it (explosion proof)--cable itself does not require
Specifications of being explosion proof.--Site Visit may be req.

13. CLIN 0008 - Please confirm you need a 60" por 60' output cable.

*The output Cable requirement: Minimum of at least 60 FEET long.
