1.) I am not sure what you want base on the description provided " Foundation Form Fastener Kit." Could you provide more details on what this is please?

- The Foundation Form Fastener Kit contains 1/2 inch diameter by 1 3/4 inch bolts with nuts to go with them. Here are part numbers from Home Depot website for examples. 150 Model # 850588 for bolts. 150 #08464 for nuts.

300 Model # 08074 washers per building.

2.) You request a Louver Kit-Heavy duty, motorized, intake louvers/dampers.

What opening size do you want? Additionally I am not finding a motorized louver/damper. I am finding motorized dampers but there is no louver front.

Do you have a brand in mind?

- Dayton 3C972, Dayton 1BLJ3 are very similar to our requirement except the dimensions need to be 2 foot by 2 foot. One will have the Fan the other is just the louvers in the Attachments included, available from Grainger.

3.) What type of door frame profile are you looking for?

- Due to the construction methods, standard type doors and frames will not secure properly due to flex in the end wall panels. Doors must be able to be imbedded and welded into the foundation. At this time I am not aware of any manufacturer other than MIC Industries, who has doors that meet the criteria for security as well as flashing required for waterproofing the opening with this type of facility.

4.) 2,f,111,1v, & v----Are these three items necessary? Based on remarks from Insulation Supplier these items are no longer used because seams & tape hold insulation to building frame. Items are very expensive and may not have a function. I understand K-Span is a"frameless & self supporting" structure, but will internal framing be employed once structure is erected?

-The material for pin welding (2, f, III, IV, V) is still required. That is our primary means of installing the insulation to the steel arches. There will be no internal framing, facility is one large open bay with no interior walls.

5.) #2,e,ii, Industrial Grade Powered Ventilator Our calculations calls for 2310 CFM Ventilator. Will ventilation require 2 at 2310 CFM or 1 each at

1155 CFM?

-One 2310 CFM fan for the entire facility. One exhaust fan and one intake louver is what we are looking for. See attached (something similar).

6.) Delivery dates for steel coil and possibly Overhead Doors may be too tight. We have 75% of the coil requirement in stock at this time. Steel mill lead time is currently 6 to 8 weeks. Additional time may be required.

Is this possible?

-6 to 8 weeks after award of contract is acceptable for the steel coil and doors if contract is awarded this month (Jan). Note that the "overhead door" is supposed to be an "Overhead Door" brand roll-up door. Note that steel coils (ONLY) will be delivered to Malmstrom AFB, MT while all other material for this contract will be delivered to Dyess AFB, TX.

7.) RFQ calls for steel coils to average 4,600 lbs each. This is not possible. This item (NSN5450-01-339-3340) historically has coil weights average 3,000# to 3,800# each. Can exception to the RFQ requirement be made?

-The steel coils should not exceed 4,600#s each. Average coil weights between 3,000# to 3,800# are acceptable.
