DesignSpan Building in a Box (or equal) Statement of Work

1. RED HORSE uses an Ultimate Building Machine for K-Span construction projects. This requirement is for DesignSpan Building in a Box or equivalent structural material in accordance with the below specs for construction of the two (2) buildings as shown in the attached designs on Pgs. A-1, A-2, and A-3.The two buildings are identical, but the requirements are broken out into Communications Storage K-Span and Readiness Storage K-Span.

2. The structural material for the Communication Storage K-Span includes:

a. Structural Steel- .043” thick by 24” wide painted light sand tan. (Qty 50,000 lbs)

i. Note: Must be compatible with the MIC-120 Ultimate Building Machine that RED HORSE will be using on this project

b. Foundation forming accessories:

i. Base Angle, ¼” x 3”x 20’ long (Qty 18)

ii. Sched40 pipe, ¾” ID, plain end @ 36” in length (Qty 200)

iii. All Thread 12-13B, 40” (Qty 200)

iv. Foundation Form Fastener Kit (Qty 1)

c. Door Kit, Left Hand Reverse Swing opening, 36”x80”, 12 Gauge steel two-piece frame, 18 gauge single entry hollow door, pneumatic closure, grey primed, panic hardware, and associated consumables (mastic tape, caulk, self-drilling screws and rivets). (Qty 2)

i. Note: Exterior doors with closers must be Level 4, physical performance Level A doors complying with ANSI/SDI A250.8, Standard Steel Doors and Frames. Frames must match door level. Exterior door frames must be welded type…Provide Grade 1 hardware typical. Locksets must be mortise type, Series 1000 as defined by ANSI/BHMA - A156.13, Mortise Locks and Latches for shop and maintenance level doors. Hinges for doors with closers must be full mortise butt hinges except where special types are required. Closers must be the best and highest grade available from each manufacturer.

d. Overhead door kit (Qty 1):

i. Installation Frame

ii. Industrial Grade Roll-up door, 16’Wx14’H

iii. Trim and Header Assembly

iv. Associated Hardware

e. Louver Kit, Heavy duty, motorized, intake louvers/dampers with interior screen mesh (Qty 2):

i. Steel insulation trim for 6” thick insulation. Primer painted

ii. Industrial grade powered ventilator

iii. Associated Hardware

f. Fiberglass Blanket Insulation (R-19) kit:

i. Polypropylene Faced (white) Fiber Glass Insulation, WPM-VR, 4’x50’ Roll, 6” thick (Qty 64)

ii. Polypropylene Facing Tape, White, 150’ Roll (Qty 12)

iii. Weld on pin, 12 ga. X 6.5” (Qty 13,000)

iv. Pin Washer WA 250, round (Qty 13,000)

v. Protective speed caps, white 12GA (Qty 13,000)

g. Building consumables:

i. Mastic Tape rolls (Qty 24)

ii. TEK screw, rubber washer, #12-14, 1” long (Qty 5,000)

iii. Exterior silicone tube, white (Qty 14)

3. The structural material for the Readiness Storage K-Span includes:

a. Structural Steel- .043” thick by 24” wide painted light sand tan. (Qty 50,000 lbs)

i. Note: Must be compatible with the MIC-120 Ultimate Building Machine that RED HORSE will be using on this project

b. Foundation forming accessories:

4. Delivery is to Dyess Air Force Base near Abilene, Texas.

5. Delivery of structural material for the Communications Storage K-Span must occur between 22 February and 04 March 2016. Remaining materials may be delivered at the same time but must be delivered by 11 March 2016.
