Statement of Work (SOW) for Aircraft Structural Maintenance Handheld 3D Scanner with Dent Evaluation Software Contract for
Fairchild AFB, 92 MXS:
1.0. Description of Services. The primary objective of this statement of work is to provide an outline for the delivery and installation of a Handheld 3D Scanner with Dent Evaluation Software in accordance with the outlined specifications
1.1 Fairchild AFB, 92 MXS, Periodic Inspection, Building 2050
2.0. The vendor shall supply one (1) 3D Scanner with dent analysis software.
2.1. The unit shall meet the following requirements:
2.1.1. The unit must be handheld
2.1.2. The unit must be accurate within and have a measurement resolution of 0.030 mm or better
2.1.3. The unit must have a measurement rate of at least 1,000,000 measurements/second
2.1.4. If required, the vendor must supply at least 250 magnetic positioning targets and 500 contoured positioning targets
2.1.5. The vendor must supply a surface dent evaluation software compatible with Microsoft Excel 2010 or newer to include 1 year of software maintenance and licensee for technical support
2.1.6. The vendor must supply a software capable of 3D scan post-treatment that directly integrates into any 3D printing or CAD software
2.1.7. The vendor must supply software capable of quality control and reverse engineering of 3D scans
2.1.8. The vendor must deliver a portable workstation transportable to jobsite location.
3.0 The vendor shall supply one laptop capable of running the software being supplied. The laptop shall be preloaded with all necessary programs and licenses needed to operate the software.
3.1. The vendor is responsible for the delivery all items above to Building 2050 on Fairchild AFB, WA. This is a one-time delivery for the base contract. No additional units or spare parts will be provided.
3.2. The vendor shall provide a descriptive and comprehensive maintenance schedule to include any and all annual calibrations, software updates, as well as operator manuals for the above pieces of equipment to 92 MXS.
3.3. Vendor Actions at Worksite. Vendor technicians will provide delivery of 3D scanner, associated software and training for up to 3 people over a 3 day period. Contractor personnel are only to be in their assigned areas and are not allowed in other aircraft maintenance areas without section supervision approval and / or an escort.
