About this file

This document provides questions and answers from a site visit for a federal contract to provide kitchen hood and clothes dryer duct cleaning services at Dover Air Force Base. The contract requires cleaning services at multiple buildings on base, with various numbers of kitchen hoods, filters, and exhaust fans ranging in size. Dryer vents are located both on building roofs and exiting through sides of buildings. Special equipment is only needed to access roofs, and contractors must follow OSHA safety standards. Technical certification for dryer vent cleaning is not required. The performance work statement should be referenced for more details on equipment at each location.
