Overhead Door Replacement for Building 278 Questions and Answers Question 1 – What is the floor to ceiling measurement?
Answer 1 – Floor to the lowest part of the ceiling is 33’ 9”. Floor to the heater, which is the lowest hanging obstacle in the vicinity of the door is 24’ 9”.
Question 2 – Is the door full vertical or high lifted (goes up vertically a certain distance before going horizontal)?
Answer 2 – The door is a vertical rolling steel door.
Question 3 – If it is high lifted, what is the height from floor to the top of vertical track?
Answer 3 – N/A Question 4 – Is there currently conduit bringing power to existing opener, is there conduit leaving opener and going down to 3 button station (the wall button to open and close the door)?
Answer 4 – Yes, and Yes Question 5 – Is there currently a type of safety beam at the bottom of the garage door (photo cells)?
Answer 5 – Yes, there is an electric bump stop on the bottom of the door, however, I don’t know it’s condition because I cannot operate the door.
