End user requirements for “Fire Truck Wireless Radio/Intercom”

Wireless Base Stations: Operating on the 1.9GHz DECT 6.0 standard, base stations provide secure, encrypted digital, interference-free, full-duplex communication with wireless headsets with a capable range no less than 1,300-1,500-foot line-of-sight radius from the installed vehicle.

--Operating temperature range: 14°F to +158°F

--Chemical resistance, corrosion and humidity per MIL-STD-810

--Complies with FCC Part 15 Rules and IC RSS-213 Rules

--May not cause harmful interference. Must accept any interference that may be received, including interference that may cause undesired operation

Digital Intercom:

--Digital encoding for secure, interference-free communications

--Supports mix of up to 10 wired headsets and/or wireless base stations up to 40 users

--Humidity and Temperature Shock per MIL-STD 810F and 810G

--Operating temperature: -40°F to 176°F

--Interfaces with different radios via “plug & play” connections

--Up to 4 Aux in/outputs for computers, GPS, cell phones, MP3, etc using modular components

Under Helmet Headset Wireless:

--1400-1600 foot line-of-sight range, DECT6 wireless encrypted

--Audible out-of-range warning

--24-hour rechargeable battery

--One year of shelf life without losing the charge

--23-24dB noise reduction rating (NRR), IP65 rating for dust/water protection when worn

--Flexible microphone that is adjustable, for right or left usage, noise cancelling, adjustable for microphone gain, protected by waterproof material, muff that improves use by reducing wind noise

Combatability: Ability for headsets to work with Motorola XTL-5000 that are currently mounted in all

Altus Air Force Base CEF (fire) vehicles.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

--ONSITE TRAINING at Customer Location, Maintenance and Troubleshooting course

--ONSITE INSTALLATION of all components

MISCELLANIOUS REQUIREMENTS:

--WARRANTY FOR TWO-YEARS
