1. Could you please tell me if this requirement will be a follow-on requirement to any work performed currently or in the past, or will this be a new requirement? If possible, can you please provide the most recent contract or task order number? ANS.: Yes this is a follow-on Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) requirement. There were two multiple BPAs awarded but have since expired; FA301619AA023 and FA301619AA024. The primary difference between the current requirement and the expired BPAs is that, for the new requirement, in addition to the services to be rendered as needed, the contractor will need to provide all materials for the repair at hand.

2. Under schedule B, Line item 0007, is a specific size required for this part? If so, please define. ANS.: Line Item part number is Viega 79245; please refer to the revised RFQ (Schedule B). However, as noted on the solicitation, all parts/items listed are Brand or equivalent. If the market has an equivalent brand that will work appropriately for the repair and is compatible in order to result in a functioning system, the equivalent part will be acceptable. The list of items are what the government knows will work for the probable repairs required under this BPA.

3. Under schedule B, Line item 0010 - part # provided does not match the equipment description. Please specify part # for 1/35 hp 1 ph 115v 3 Spd motor. I am having difficulty cross referencing the technical specifications for a 1/35 hp motor. ANS.: FASCO CPN PM- 02-1518; please refer to the revised RFQ (Schedule B).

4. PWS 1.5 Contractor Personnel - Paragraph states that "during normal duty hours, a contract manager shall be available within 2 hours to meet with civil engineering personnel on the installation” - Please clarify “meet". Does 2 hours mean contact only (phone/email) or on-site meeting with Civil Engineering? In light of COVID, what are the acceptable methods for meeting with the Contract Manager? ANS.: As a result of COVID, the meeting may be via telephone contact. Please refer to the updated PWS (Attach 1).

5. What are the quantities of each item listed? I was unsure so I was going to quote for approximately 100 units each item. ANS.: This is a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) and therefore not a contract. The unit price should reflect the contractor’s pricing if we should order only one unit or multiple units. The amount needed will not be known until a call order is made against the BPA, so it is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure they price appropriately as needed should the government only order one unit from the contractor. Under this BPA, there is no minimum or guaranteed order amount. Also note that the under a BPA, the contractor’s unit price is a maximum amount.
