1. Did you know that the Cisco’s 3700 series access points went end of sale earlier this year.

Yes, we are aware.

2. Will you accept a quote for the replacement, part AIR-AP3802I-B-K9?

Yes

3. The request says “Aironet 3700i Access Point with internal antennas, Dualband, CleanAir, 02.11a/g/n/ac, D Reg Domain Cisco Aironet 3700i.”

D Reg Domain is for India. Is this fulfill the requested need? For the US, the 3702 is A Reg Domain. Are you sure on the request for D Reg Domain?

We are requesting the AIR-CAP3702I-B-K9 but will accept the Air-AP3802i-B-K9 as it is compatible with the current controllers we have: WLC 5508

4. Cisco 3700i Access Points to be new and not refurbished?

New

5. Do you have a manufacturer number? From your description I believe its AIR-CAP3702I-A- K9 but I wanted to confirm

6. This model of AP is no longer available and the replacement part is AIR-AP3802I-B-K9.

Would the government accept a quote for the replacement?

7. On the solicitation you are asking for Cisco 3700i Access Points, yet on the provisions you are asking for Cisco 3702i. Could you please let me know if there is a new item you are looking for the solicitation?

8. The Cisco 3700 series in question is unavailable and is being replaced by the 4800 series, is that an acceptable substitution?

NO, 4800 series is not compatible with the 5508 wireless controllers we have.

9. Being the there are several variants of this model, is it possible to see the units deployed currently to ascertain the correct model needed for each? Requesting Pictures

12. After speaking to Cisco I was informed that the Aironet 3700i is a discontinued item and the last order date was early April.

The equivalent is the Air-AP3802i-D-K9, is this an acceptable item for the solicitation.

We will accept the Air-AP3802i-B- K9 as it is compatible with the current controllers we have: WLC
