Vendor Questions & Answers – Misting Fans Installation

1. QUESTION: The Statement Of Work asks for 32 fans but the pricing sheet asks for 7 fans. How many are to be installed.

1. ANSWER: THE SOW IS CORRECT. 32 FANS WILL BE REQUIRED.

2. QUESTION: I sent a question to the manufacturer about using a water tank. Another similar question is posted with a response stating that 40 PSI is needed to feed the pump. This can be achieved by adding a submersible pump. They cost around $100 each.

http://www.mistcooling.com/productquestions/index/index/id/79/ Does this unit require a pressure reducer on the inlet side?

2. ANSWER: No. Each pump comes with 6ft garden hose to feed water in to the pump. City water pressure of 40-100psi is sufficient to feed the pump.

3. QUESTION: Can the tank be placed behind the seating area on the concrete slab? Or do we need to pour a new concrete slab for the tank to sit on?

3. ANSWER: TANKS BEHIND THE SEATING WOULD NOT BE CONDUCIVE TO FIRING OR TRAINING
