Questions Q: Will the government share the AFSC designator(s) for the anticipated students along with any shred outs or special experience indicators?
A: Students will include all medical AFSCs at the MDG- doctors, nurses, dentists, EMTs, lab, pharmacy, mental health, bio, logistics, admin, etc. All AFSCs.
Q: What is the government’s desired equivalent Combat Lifesaver tier for this course?
A: If asking about TCCC, the desired outcome is to get students up to Combat Medic and then Combat
Paramedic/Provider when it is released by DHA. The Instructors will be required to teach Combat
Lifesaver, Combat Medic, and Combat Paramedic/Provider once it’s released. For EMT, they need to be an EMT Basic. Level.
Q:Does the government require that course students be able to claim continuing education credits for their EMT renewal based on this course?
A: The AF falls under National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians with the USAF EMS Program and the AF State Director for the AF. AF is their own state under the NREMT. Each State of EMS creates own training requirements. The AF does not use CEUs as members gain the required hands on training throughout the year using Combat Medical Readiness Training Skills required training and the 40 hour EMT Refresher Course. Instructors, can utilize their teaching of EMT Topics/hands on skills /TCCC to claim EMT CEUs that maybe required for their state. The AF only accepts hands on CEUs.
Q: Does the government anticipate a recertification timeline for the skills taught during this course? For example, the USMC Combat Lifesafer recertification requirement is every three years or within 12 months of a deployment.
A: The AF's timeline is the same- TCCC re-certified is every 3 years or within 12 months of deployment.
EMT renewal is every 2 yrs.
Q: Will the government clarify the replacement timeframe if a contractor employee leaves this contract?
The sources sought notice notes replacements timeframes of 15, 30, and 60 days
A: Section II of the updated PWS states anything beyond 30 days is marginal and beyond 60 unsat.
Q: Does the government contemplate holding performance review meetings with the contractor, particularly around the issuance of CPARS ratings? If so, how often does the government desire a review meeting (quarterly, annually, after each course)? Additionally, does the government contemplate these review meetings being in person or virtual?
A: No. COR will collect QASP from the department. If ratings are below satisfactory, we will contact base contracting/vendor

A: IAW the salient characteristics, the shelves should be 48” wide and 24” in depth.
Q: Where precisely is the system located in each room?
A: Rm 3M028 and Rm 3M019
Q: Are there 2 systems since 2 room drawings are shown? The specs don't mention 2 systems needed. A:

A: The requirement is for all new shelving, a mix of new static shelving and a set of roller shelving in Rm

Q: What is the maximum height allowed to comply with 18" clearance from sprinklers for fire code compliance?
A: The floor to ceiling height is 7’ 11”. If your chosen solution will have a sprinkler above it, then your max height would be 6’ 5”. If your system doesn’t have a sprinkler located above it, then it is acceptable for the system to be floor to ceiling.
