Responses to Questions – FA2823-16-Q-8004
1. It looks like the CRAC unit can be equipped with either a BACnet over MSTP or a BACnet over IP option, per page 11 of 16, “Select MC-2000 Options”.
In the SOW, there is a requirement “that the new system have the ability to interface over TCP/IP (network) to government owned computing assets for monitoring and control.”
Can you clarify whether it is intended for this CRAC unit to interface to the basewide EMCS Niagara server operated by the shops; or whether there is another local, internal monitoring function in this facility whereby the CRAC unit would be monitored?
Answer: It would be a local, internal monitoring function in our facility where the CRAC unit would be monitored. The contractor can provide or recommend the client S/W for this at their discretion.
It will not be interfacing to the basewide EMCS Niagara server.
