Buckley AFB
1. The 460th Space Communications Squadron (460 SCS) has a requirement for an Arc Flash Risk
Assessment & Labeling. Arc Flash Risk Assessment & Labeling using the Incident Energy Analysis
Method to the standards of NFPA 70E, IEEE 184, and NEC. The Arc Flash Program shall consist of:
Data Collection of Equipment, Electrical One-Line Drawings, Engineering Studies, Short Circuit
Study, Coordinated Protective Device Study, Arc Flash / Incident Energy Analysis, Recommended
Solutions for Mitigating Arc Flash Hazards, Arc Flash Labels & Label Application, and Report
Delivery & Consultation on Results in accordance with (IAW) the Performance Work Statement
(PWS) dated 17 January 2018.
2. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the Lowest
Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offeror who meet the requirements found in the PWS dated 17
January 2018.
3. This requirement will be solicited and awarded as a total service-disabled veteran owned small business set-aside on the FedBiz Ops.
4. The Government intends to evaluate offers and make award without discussions; however, this does not preclude the Government from having discussions if it is in the best interest of the Government.
5. The period of performance will be 14 February 2018 – 14 May 2018.
6. All interested parties are responsible for reviewing the RFQ (FA254318T0004) attached to ensure that they have a complete proposal package prior to submission.
7. The Contracting Specialist is SSgt Mallory Cary at mallory.cary@us.af.mil and the Contracting
Officer is Ms. Damaris Raffaeli at damaris.raffaeli@us.af.mil. Please direct and questions you have to the POCs NLT 1 February 2019 @ 12:00 PM MST.
8. The RFQ will close on 5 February 2018 @ 12:00 PM MST. Please be sure to date stamp your quotes.
