| Text3: ALSC Architects provided a 100% design package (drawings, specifications, narrative, and cost estimate) in 2018 for project GJKZ112716, Multi Energy Conservation Measures as a task order against the AE IDIQ for Eastern WA. This project is currently funded to include Type C Services. Based on the complexity associated with multiple facilities and varying operations and tenants, Type C Services (Construction Inspection and Testing) are required. As ALSC Architects are the AE of record, they maintain responsibility for their design, and have all the existing design records and calculations. To have another AE firm review and implement this design work would require the new firm to interpret all requirements for enforcement and commissioning although warranty for the design would remain with ALSC. | |
