QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Cut-off date for contractor questions is: 12:00 PM CST, 26 March 2020.

Questions

Question 12: Does Govt Have ability to unload containers (Forklift, Crane)?

Government Response: Camp Bullis does have a motor pool (transportation office) on base that can provide forklifts & cranes, but the 353rd SWTS would like the contractor to unload the containers as stated in the SOO (statement of objectives).

Question 13: Are standard, battery powered, Smoke Detectors sufficient for fire protection?

Government Response: Yes the standard powered smoke detectors are sufficient for protection. The 353rd will purchase fire extinguisher for each room and the fire department will install the call-out system

Question 14: Do we need the base permission to install grounding rods?

Government Response: The base does not need permission to install grounding rods, but the Civil Engineer need to mark the electrical for the CHUs out at Camp AP

Question 15: Is the Due Date 3/30 or 4/2? The website seems to say 4/2, but the solicitation document says 3/30.

Government Response: The due date is 2 April 2020. 30 March was a clerical error.
