Mobile Weapons Racks RFIs

1. Is there drawings or layout of the room that you could make available? See Attachment

2. The cabinets needed appear to be (2) 45” high stacked cabinets. Would a single 84” high cabinet be acceptable as long as it has the same capacity as (2) 45” cabinets?

ANSWER: For safety reason we would prefer the split level configuration so a person working with the weapons at the bottom would not concerned with over their heads; i.e 45"H Weapons Racks to hold M4/M16 and M9 Pistols.

3. Would an adjustable rail system be acceptable vs. the grouted rail system?

ANSWER: We require a system that is virtually rust free due the corrosive environment, low maintenance and extremely ease of movement, and has a PMI schedule included; treated rail system

4. Could you further explain the “automatic locking capability” requirement? Is a push button handle lock acceptable?

ANSWER: I only know that as you roll the sections close it locks that row. We would prefer to have a system is very secure and user friendly.

5. Do the pistols need to be stored in their own separate cabinet or can they be stored with rifles?

ANSWER: They can be stored together as long as it easily accessible and we can read serial number with minimum handling; i.e 45"H Weapons Racks to hold M4/M16 and M9 Pistols.
