Place concrete in compliance with the practices and recommendations of ACI 304, and as herein specified.

B. Water shall be removed from within forms and excavations before and during placement of concrete.

C. Concrete shall not be placed on a frozen subgrade or against any surface having deposits of frost or ice.

D. Deposit concrete as near as practicable to its final location to avoid rehandling or flowing. Do not subject concrete to any procedure which will cause segregation.

In no case is concrete to be allowed to drop freely more than five (5) feet.

E. Do not use concrete which becomes non-plastic and unworkable, or does not meet the required quality control limits, or which has been contaminated by foreign material. Do not use retempered concrete. Remove rejected concrete from the project site and dispose of it in an acceptable location.
