About this file

This document provides details for a solicitation seeking a consultancy group to develop and provide training for school counselors working in a correctional environment. The solicitation requests the development of a minimum eight-hour training event on aspects of school counseling services within corrections, as well as a minimum two-hour training on administering, scoring and interpreting career interest inventories aligned with the Holland Codes. Offerors must demonstrate experience working with or training school counselors in school districts, juvenile facilities or adult corrections. The training program aims to guide offender career planning and preparation for reentry by advising on evidence-based school counseling practices in corrections and empowering counselors to apply their skills in a non-traditional setting through collaboration training. The selected contractor will also review and provide guidance on using career interest inventories to support career exploration, development and education in correctional settings.
