About this file
This statement of work outlines testing requirements for a guided missile launcher cell cover. The Navy will provide the cell cover to the contractor, who must then conduct rainfall testing in accordance with MIL-STD-810H method 506.6 at their own facility located in the United States. Testing aims to validate the cell cover's design and functionality for withstanding rainfall rates up to 7 inches per hour. The contractor must generate a formal test report including photographs and provide pass/fail data. Upon submitting the report, the contractor has two weeks to return the cell cover to Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme. The related solicitation was issued by the Naval Sea Systems Command on behalf of the Department of the Navy for this rainfall testing requirement.
