About this file

This document is a detailed bid specification (Bid E-18-25) for the City of Cheyenne, Wyoming, seeking to procure one new 30-yard roll-off truck for its Sanitation Division. The specifications provide comprehensive technical requirements for the vehicle, including detailed guidelines for the chassis, engine, transmission, cab, electrical systems, accessories, hydraulic cable lift, and roll-off hoist tarp system. The bid requires vendors to respond by indicating compliance with each line-item specification using a "Y" (Yes) or "N" (No) format, with the understanding that failure to clearly mark compliance may result in bid rejection.

The specifications include extensive warranty requirements, with two-year/100,000-mile bumper-to-bumper coverage for the cab and chassis, five-year/100,000-mile coverage for the engine and transmission, two-year warranty on the body, and two-year standard warranty for the tarp system. The bid also mandates the inclusion of specific equipment like a FleetMind camera system, VHF 2-way radio, and various manuals and operational documentation. Additional requirements include training for diagnostic equipment and software, and precise mounting and installation guidelines. The document provides an option for an extended transmission warranty and requires that all titles be made out to the City of Cheyenne and delivered to the City Fleet Maintenance shop.
