NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS

RE: OR BAKER 520(1)

Granite Hill Highway Reconstruction Solicitation No. DTFH70-15-B-00008

The attached preliminary plans are being furnished to aid prospective Bidders in identifying the location and type of work for this project. The project will be advertised during a period when viewing of the project may not be possible due to snow. Therefore, prospective Offerors are encouraged to view the project during fall as conditions permit. After October 15, access will be weather dependent. No Federal Highway Administration personnel will be available for show-me tours.

Project Location and Type of Work - All project work is located in Baker County, west of Baker City, OR.

• Granite Hill Highway o MP 3.72 – MP 5.72 - Work within this section consists of pavement milling and paving.

o MP 5.72 – MP 10.05 - Work within this section consists of shoulder stabilization, subgrade reinforcement, subexcavation, cold in-place recycled asphalt base, and paving.
