About this file

This document contains draft specifications for a Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Confocal Microscope (FLIM) to be procured by the Naval Research Laboratory. The draft specifications include minimum requirements for a confocal microscope with pulsed laser excitation sources, time-resolved photoluminescence and single photon antibunching measurement stages, a high resolution photoluminescence survey and time resolved analysis stage, and associated software, electronics and time correlated single photon counting control. The document also describes an optional procurement of additional pulsed laser sources. Interested parties are requested to respond to a Sources Sought Notice with company and technical capability information, including how their proposed product would meet or exceed the draft specifications, to gauge industry interest and identify potential sources for this requirement.
