About this file

This document is Exhibit "B" Method of Compensation for a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Invitation to Bid (DOT-ITB-26-6192EG) for Routine Maintenance Services in the South Dade area. The contract is for an indefinite quantity term contract with a maximum compensation of $740,000.00, covering maintenance services for non-interstate roadways. The Department will authorize services based on need and budget availability, and the contract does not guarantee that all work will be authorized. The specific contract period is not explicitly stated, but the vendor agrees to furnish services during a prescribed period of time.

The compensation method involves monthly invoicing, with payments made at unit billing rates detailed in Exhibit "C" for services provided and approved by the Department. The contract unit rates include costs of salaries, overhead, fringe benefits, and operating margin. The vendor is required to submit invoices with documentation of man-hours provided to the South Dade Maintenance office. Additionally, the vendor has the opportunity to certify Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) utilization, with DBE payments to be reported monthly through a specific FDOT web portal. The contract explicitly states that no tangible personal property will be purchased, and financial consequences are referenced in the Standard Written Agreement's Section 3 on Compensation and Payment.
