SECTION 4- MINIMUM SITE REQUIREMENTS
4.1. Pharmacy Environment: The DOSIS System must be installed in a dry, indoor environment that is clean and free of drafts and direct sunlight. The ambient temperature around each tower should be between 65-75 °F with a relative humidity between 20 and 80 percent. The operating environment should be free of condensation and relatively free of dust.
4.2. Space & Weight Requirements: Specific requirements for each system will be provided during pre-installation documentation, but Subscriber should plan for the following dimensions and weights.
• Product Dimensions (height x width x depth): Each DOSIS tower is 79.5 in. x 44 in. x 26 in . Allow a minimum of 4 in. of clearance on each side and the rear of the cabinet and at least 24 in. of clearance in the front.
• Product Dead Weight: Each DOSIS tower weights approx. 1,200 lbs. The pharmacy floor must be sturdy enough to support the full weight of the cabinet as well as any additional equipment and people in the immediate vicinity.
• Entrance and Hallway Clearance (Turn Radius): Entry into the pharmacy requires enough room to maneuver each DOSIS tower (reference dimensions above). A common issue is too small of doorway height clearance due to thresholds and locking mechanisms attached to door frames. Additional charges may apply if installations involve stairways or other obstacles which require specialty moving equipment.
4.3. Power Requirements: A minimum of one dedicated 120 VAC outlet at 20 amp is required for each DOSIS tower. Power specifications for each tower are 20-amp, 120 VAC +/- 10% @ 50/60 Hz+/- 1%. Power consumption is a maximum of 2200 watts for each DOSIS tower.
4.4. Technology Requirements: Pharmacy is responsible for providing the following connectivity. Specific requirements for each system will be provided during pre-installation documentation.
• Pharmacy Management Software, including pharmacy automation interface
• Broadband Internet Access: Continuous connection; minimum 120 Kbit/s bandwidth.

• Ethernet local area network connection for each device of DOSIS System.
4.5. Safety Requirements: The frame of each DOSIS tower should be bolted to the floor or wall to ensure stable installation and prevent tip-over. Subscriber must inform Manchac of its preference for wall-mount or floor-mount during the pre-installation period and ensure structure of wall or floor of pharmacy is sufficient to meet weight loads as listed above.
