About this file

This document summarizes a federal solicitation for a scanning transmission electron microscope. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineer Research and Development Center Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory requires a scanning transmission electron microscope to meet specified technical requirements for research in nanoscale particle analysis as part of its Ground-based Higher Order Geophysics program. Quotes are due by email to the point of contact by the date listed. The award will be a firm-fixed-price contract for the microscope equipment, twelve months of software licensing and support, installation, training, and warranty. The evaluation will consider price and technical acceptability of the quote to meet the stated requirements.
