Contract Summary
This is a non-competitive procurement documentation and master agreement between the Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska (University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Department of Intercollegiate Athletics) and The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel (CORNHUSKER HOTEL MARCUS LINCOLN HOTEL LLC), located at 333 South 13th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. The contract was approved under NCPD (Non-Competitive Procurement Documentation) procedures in Lancaster County, Nebraska, and is governed by Nebraska state law. The agreement was executed on February 3, 2026, with signatures from Jon Watts (Sr. Associate Vice President - Chief Operating Officer for the University) and Dan Jones (Director of Sales for the hotel).
The agreement establishes a home football game hotel arrangement for the 2026 Nebraska Football season, running from September 4, 2026, through November 21, 2026, for a total contract value of $210,000. The hotel will provide guest rooms at committed rates: $159 per night for team block king or double/double rooms, $209 per night for team block suites, and $169 per night for recruit block rooms. The University commits to utilizing 70 guest rooms per game (consisting of 3 corner suites, 1 executive suite, 47 double/double rooms, and 19 king rooms for the team block, plus 4 additional king or double/double rooms for recruits on game and post-game weekends) across seven home games. The hotel will provide complimentary wireless internet, 10 parking passes per game weekend, complimentary meeting space, meal pricing based on 2025 rates, and complimentary late checkout based on official game time. If actual usage falls below 80% of the room night commitment, the University agrees to pay the difference between 80% occupancy and actual usage, multiplied by the average room rate per game. Rooming lists must be submitted by Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. for the team block and Monday at noon for the recruit block.

RP-6.2.1.5.b.1)iv Procurement by non-competitive proposals is procurement through solicitation of a proposal from only one source and may be used only when one or more of the following circumstances apply:
Select Circumstances for Procurement by Non-Competitive Proposals definitions for relevant capitalized terms are included on the following page
The Purchase of a unique Article or Service that is available only from a single source (without limiting the generality of the foregoing, examples include public utilities; books, periodicals, and other publications; and specially designed business, research, or scientific equipment and software). Unless an Article or Service is necessary for the operation of an existing Article or performance of an existing Service purchased by the University, a specification for a proprietary Article or Service does not justify a Purchase by noncompetitive proposal where there is more than a single source that can provide the Article or Service. See RP-6.2.1.5.b.1)iv.A.I; -6.2.1.5.b.1)iv.C.
The Purchase of an Article or Service that is necessary for the operation of an existing Article or performance of an existing Service purchased by the University. See RP-6.2.1.5.b.1)iv.A.II.

The Purchase is for maintenance or servicing of equipment made from the manufacturer of the equipment or the manufacturer's authorized service agent, where, in the judgment of the Authorized Signatory, such maintenance or service can be most effectively performed by the manufacturer or its authorized service agent.
See RP-6.2.1.5.b.1)iv.A.V.
The Purchase is to be made using federal funding and the federal awarding agency or pass-through entity expressly authorizes non-competitive proposals in response to a written request from the non-federal entity.
See RP-6.2.1.5.b.1)iv.A.VI.
This form must be accompanied by written justification for the non-competitive procurement from the requesting college, school, department, division, office, or other administrative subdivision.

ELECTRONIC RECORD AND SIGNATURE DISCLOSURE
From time to time, NU Contracts+Ariba (we, us or Company) may be required by law to provide to you certain written notices or disclosures. Described below are the terms and conditions for providing to you such notices and disclosures electronically through the DocuSign system.
Please read the information below carefully and thoroughly, and if you can access this information electronically to your satisfaction and agree to this Electronic Record and Signature
Disclosure (ERSD), please confirm your agreement by selecting the check-box next to ‘I agree to use electronic records and signatures’ before clicking ‘CONTINUE’ within the DocuSign system.
Getting paper copies
At any time, you may request from us a paper copy of any record provided or made available electronically to you by us. You will have the ability to download and print documents we send to you through the DocuSign system during and immediately after the signing session and, if you elect to create a DocuSign account, you may access the documents for a limited period of time
(usually 30 days) after such documents are first sent to you. After such time, if you wish for us to send you paper copies of any such documents from our office to you, you will be charged a
$0.00 per-page fee. You may request delivery of such paper copies from us by following the procedure described below.
Withdrawing your consent
If you decide to receive notices and disclosures from us electronically, you may at any time change your mind and tell us that thereafter you want to receive required notices and disclosures only in paper format. How you must inform us of your decision to receive future notices and disclosure in paper format and withdraw your consent to receive notices and disclosures electronically is described below.
Consequences of changing your mind
If you elect to receive required notices and disclosures only in paper format, it will slow the speed at which we can complete certain steps in transactions with you and delivering services to you because we will need first to send the required notices or disclosures to you in paper format, and then wait until we receive back from you your acknowledgment of your receipt of such paper notices or disclosures. Further, you will no longer be able to use the DocuSign system to receive required notices and consents electronically from us or to sign electronically documents from us.
All notices and disclosures will be sent to you electronically
Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure created on: 5/16/2023 6:53:28 PM Parties agreed to: Lynn McAlpine, Dan Jones, Jon Watts, Blake Chramosta, Blake Chramosta
Unless you tell us otherwise in accordance with the procedures described herein, we will provide electronically to you through the DocuSign system all required notices, disclosures, authorizations, acknowledgements, and other documents that are required to be provided or made available to you during the course of our relationship with you. To reduce the chance of you inadvertently not receiving any notice or disclosure, we prefer to provide all of the required notices and disclosures to you by the same method and to the same address that you have given
us. Thus, you can receive all the disclosures and notices electronically or in paper format through the paper mail delivery system. If you do not agree with this process, please let us know as described below. Please also see the paragraph immediately above that describes the consequences of your electing not to receive delivery of the notices and disclosures electronically from us.
