Sources Sought Questions/Answers

DHQCAP15MP60007/CMMS

1. I would like to ask a question in regards to the subject sources sought. Concept Plus is an 8(a), SDB, with a primary NAICS code of 541511. Therefore, we meet the basic requirements for submitting a response. However, I would like to know if the government is looking for a COTS type product that is built and designed specifically to provide the maintenance type services as presented in the draft PWS, or is a potential vendor allowed to propose a product such as Oracle that either provides the capabilities asked for in the PWS or is configurable to meet the stated needs?

ANSWER: The sources sought notification does not include a restriction on alternative solutions. We are looking for sources to be able to provide a COTS solution that does meet the requirements outlined in the PWS. If you have these capabilities please respond with your alternative solution.

2. Will be the NAICS used for the formal solicitation. The write-up on FBO mentioned anticipated NAICS?

ANSWER: We have not finalized anything to solidify using the NACIS 541511 for the solicitation yet.

3. Would you kindly confirm if this is an entirely new effort or is there an incumbent currently providing the services? If so, can you please provide the incumbent contract details?

ANSWER: This is a new effort without an incumbent.
