About this file
This document is Amendment No. 4 to a Contract for Property and Casualty Insurance Broker of Record (BOR) for the State of Ohio, issued by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) General Services Division, Office of Procurement Services. The amendment involves Alliant Insurance Services, Inc., located in Newport Beach, California, as the primary contractor.
The amendment extends the contract through June 30, 2026, following a mutual agreement to renew for an additional 24-month period effective July 1, 2024. The contract governs broker services that Alliant will provide to state agencies, which can only be initiated through written authorization from the Office of Risk Management (ORM). The amendment includes provisions prohibiting offshore service expenditures and investments in Russian institutions, and specifies that all services, fees, and commissions will be billed directly to state agencies at mutually agreed rates. Authorizations for broker services may include scenarios such as insurance for newly elected officials, non-state party insurance administered by state agencies, construction project bonds, and situations where ORM cannot meet agency needs.
