MUTUALLY AGREED UPON CLARIFICATIONS

Agency and Contractor have mutually agreed to the following:

1. CEO uses 10-12 passenger vans, with the most common being the Chevrolet Express 12 passenger van. All vans have a hitch to pull a trailer to perform the required scope of work. When vans need repair CEO will either rent a van or borrow one from another one of our CEO offices. CEO is also in the process of submitting an order request for GM to build vans with some extras being built into the budget as backups.

2. Individuals must be employed in full time employment outside of CEO and within a private or public sector business to qualify for incentives. Incentives are designed to keep participants engaged in our program while they maintain their full-time employment. CEO’s Ohio offices offer laptops and electronics distributed as job performance incentives in lieu of monetary incentives. CEO will not utilize any state funding via DAS to provide incentives to CEO program participants.

3. CEO will work closely with DRC Reentry Leadership to ensure individuals who are scheduled to be released receive information from their pre-release Case Managers on how to access CEO’s services and become knowledgeable about the employment services offered by CEO. CEO will be conducting virtual in-reach within state correctional facilities and scheduling ongoing presentations to statewide case managers about the services offered by CEO including access to ODOT transitional work crews. CEO will market to Halfway houses, and community based organizations that work with individuals being released from incarceration or are under probation supervision.

Additionally, CEO is a Statewide SNAP E&T Provider working closely with ODJFS to ensure their local county offices utilize CEO as a resource to formerly incarcerated individuals receiving SNAP benefits. CEO has also connected with their Workforce Team awarded the Pathways Home grant and will be presenting to their Navigators who work with SNAP recipients on their pre-release vocational planning.

4. CEO continues to ensure DRC has CEO marketing materials available at their local APA offices and within statewide correctional facilities. During APA office closures due to COVID, CEO will conduct virtual in-reach in Ohio state facilities starting with Loraine. With the assistance of the DRC Internal Reentry Administrator. Beginning in August 2021, CEO is scheduled to present to all statewide pre-release Case Managers and Wardens across state correctional facilities to present our program services as part of inmates’ release plan. We have requested to conduct these presentations quarterly to ensure pre-release Case Managers statewide include CEO in inmate release plans, when appropriate. Additionally, CEO is working with the Ohio Community Corrections Association to ensure all halfway houses have access to CEO resources and promotional materials. We recently presented to Directors of all Halfway Houses across Ohio state and are meeting with local Halfway House Directors to ensure they have access to our most up to date marketing materials as well as coordinating with leadership to allow CEO to conduct outreach within their facilities in accordance with CDC guidelines.

*The State of Ohio and the Contractor mutually agree to the following change:
