About this file

This document is Amendment 67 to a statewide contract for the operation, management, and purchase of correctional facilities in Ohio, involving the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, CoreCivic Inc., and Management and Training Corporation (MTC). The amendment specifically relates to contract CSP901412, which covers multiple correctional facilities including North Central Correctional Institution (NCCI), Lake Erie Correctional Institution (LaECI), and Northeast Ohio Correctional Center (NEOCC).

The amendment renews the contract for an additional one month (07/01/25 through 07/31/25) for the NEOCC location and incorporates a staffing pattern update for NCCI, specifically reducing the dentist staffing from 2 full-time positions to 1.75 full-time equivalent positions. The contract includes a provision that if there is a service degradation for three consecutive months, the contractor must develop an action plan that may include increasing the dentist staffing back to 2 FTE at no additional cost to the state. The contract maintains the existing per diem rate and includes provisions for ongoing contract management, with all other terms and conditions remaining unchanged. The amendment is part of a long-standing contract that has undergone numerous modifications since its original inception in 2011.
