About this file
This document is Amendment No. 1 to a contract for disability administration services between the State of Ohio's Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. The amendment is effective 07/01/24 and involves the General Services Division's Office of Procurement Services, specifically targeting the State Human Resources Division's Office of Benefits Administration Services.
The amendment modifies the original Request for Proposal (RFP) and includes several key updates: a reduction in dedicated disability representatives from ten to six, establishment of performance guarantees with risk percentages ranging from 15-20% of annual administrative fees, and a clarification that the "Program operation cost Per Employee Per Month" will not apply before the go-live date of 09/01/24. The performance guarantees cover areas such as claim entry, documentation upload, claim determination timing, notification turnaround, hearing attendance, and quarterly internal audit performance. All other contract terms and conditions remain unchanged, and the full contract and amendments are available on the DAS website.
