About this file

This document is Amendment No. 4 to Contract No. CSP009655 between the State of Ohio's Department of Administrative Services and Cambium Assessment, Inc., pertaining to Ohio's State Tests for development, administration, scoring, and reporting. The amendment involves the Ohio Department of Education and is issued by the General Services Division's Office of Procurement Services, located in Columbus, Ohio.

The amendment introduces a pilot program for remotely administering and proctoring state assessments, specifically targeting internet/online community schools during the January 27-February 21, 2025 window. The pilot is authorized by recent legislation (Senate Bill 168) and is estimated to involve 20,000 testers. The total cost for this pilot is $200,000, which includes $25,000 already in the existing contract and an additional $175,000 for implementation. The scope includes developing test administration materials, providing automated scoring for mathematics, science, social studies, and English language arts tests, and creating a reporting system where local schools can download and print results. The contract maintains the existing cost structure for various assessment types across four years, with this amendment adding the remote testing pilot as a new cost option.
