About this file

This is a pest control services indefinite delivery contract (Contract No. 220000001571) between the State of Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) and Rentokil North America, Inc., doing business as Griffin Pest Solutions. The contract was initially executed on October 28, 2022, with an expiration date of October 27, 2025, and includes two one-year renewal options. The document contains eight contract change notices reflecting pricing updates, contract value increases, and service expansions across multiple MDOC facilities from the initial effective date through June 2026.

The contract provides integrated pest management (IPM) services across multiple MDOC correctional facilities and regional offices, including Carson City Correctional Facility, Valley Correctional Facility, Gus Harrison Correctional Facility, Green Oaks Training Facility, and the Detroit Metro Parole/Probation office. Services include surveillance, trapping, and pesticide application for rodents, insects, and arthropod pests, with pricing varying by facility and service frequency (monthly, bi-weekly, weekly, or quarterly). The initial contract value was $180,000, which increased to $310,000 through change notices. Payment terms are Net 45 days via electronic funds transfer. The contractor is required to maintain all applicable pest control licenses and certifications, provide detailed IPM plans for each facility, maintain comprehensive record-keeping at each location, and respond to emergency service requests within 48 hours. Special services such as bed bug treatments, mosquito and tick treatments, and bee/wasp removal are available at additional quoted rates.
