About this file
This is a refrigeration maintenance, service, and repair contract document for the Eastern Suffolk Board of Cooperative Educational Services (ESBOCES) in New York. The contract establishes a time and materials agreement for qualified vendors to provide on-call refrigeration maintenance, service, and repair across multiple ESBOCES sites. The scope of work encompasses routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and system servicing at various locations as needed. This contract is explicitly designated for maintenance and repair services only and excludes construction projects, capital projects, or capital improvements. The successful vendor(s) must demonstrate skilled experience, prompt response capabilities, and the ability to provide services on demand at different ESBOCES facilities.
The contract operates on a time and materials pricing structure, allowing vendors to bill based on actual labor hours and materials used for each service call. This pricing model provides flexibility for the variable nature of maintenance and repair work, where job complexity and duration cannot be predetermined. The agreement requires vendors to maintain availability for emergency and routine service requests throughout the contract term, ensuring operational continuity for ESBOCES refrigeration systems across all consortium member locations.
